Mr. White of MathHog will be hosting a Forward Thinking 7th Grade Advanced Virtual Summer Math Camp online using Zoom. He will meet with students twice per week for two 1- hour sessions for a three-week period. Camp Dates: (Tuesday and Thursday's )
June 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, and 20th. Time: 9am to 9:55am
Advanced Math challenges students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills from the start. Students will encounter real-world problems using equations, multi-step equations, expressions, inequalities, and more. For students who have aspirations of being in AP math classes in the future, this class serves as a prerequisite to developing and strengthening core algebra skills in order to be successful in classes like Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calc, and on the SAT or ACT.
Students will also be given daily assignments to reinforce content learned during sessions.
A Zoom link will be emailed to campers a day before the camp.
