Mr. White of MathHog Tutors will be hosting an Algebra 1 Virtual Summer Math Camp online using Zoom. He will meet with students twice per week for two 1- hour sessions for a three-week period. Camp Dates: (Tuesday and Thursday's) June 4th, 6th,11th, 13th, 18th, and 20th. Time: 11am - 12 noon.
Algebra 1 is the first high school math class, but also the most important one. You have to pass the BEST EOC with a level 3 or higher to graduate. If you’re looking to get a head start this summer in algebra, this camp is for you. This camp will help students develop and improve their algebraic thinking while developing fluency for solving different types of equations, expressions, polynomials, graphing, exponents and more. Students completing this algebra camp will leave with a higher level of knowledge, confidence and understanding of algebra which is required to be successful year-round.
Students will also be given daily assignments to reinforce content learned during sessions.
Campers will receive a Zoom link for the entire camp a day before.
